Efim Zavalny is a distinguished Russian baritone originally from Syktyvkar. He gained wide recognition as a soloist at the Mariinsky Theatre in St. Petersburg, where he became known for his powerful stage presence, rich timbre, and nuanced musicality.

He holds a Master’s degree in opera singing from the Herzen State Pedagogical University in St. Petersburg and received further professional training at the Elena Obraztsova International Academy of Music. Zavalny is a laureate of several prestigious international vocal competitions and has been honored with a state award for achievements in dramaturgy and the performing arts.

He has performed with major opera companies and concert venues across Russia, Europe, and the United States, earning acclaim for his versatility and depth across both operatic and chamber music repertoire.
